**Seeking a Full-Time School Psychologists for a wonderful district in Panaca, NV for the 2024-2025 School Year.
This role will offer the School Psychologist the ability to work a hybrid model of 3 weeks remote and 1 week on-site** Position Summary: The position of School Psychologist supports the social, emotional, behavioral, and academic well-being of students.
They assess and address learning and behavioral issues, collaborate with educators, and help to design interventions for a positive school environment.
Conducting assessments and advocating for students' mental health are key aspects of this role.
Effective communication and a deep understanding of psychological principles are essential.

Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to: You will perform all of the duties of a school psychologist utilizing a hybrid, remote, or in-person service model.
Administering and interpreting tests to evaluate intellectual, academic, behavioral, adaptive, and/or social/emotional behaviors.
Observing referred students in school and conducting referral, follow-up activities, parent conferences and more.
Participating in educational planning, eligibility, and/or determination of placement meetings.
Participating in the development of Individual Education Programs, as needed or requested.
Conducting functional behavioral assessments, and participating in manifestation determination meetings and behavioral intervention development, as needed or requested.
Communicating and conferring with district/local education agency/agency personnel, parents, and students.
Conferring and consulting with staff and the student to determine the student's current level of performance or developmental history.
Maintaining records, writing letters, answering correspondence, and writing reports.
Participating in staff development activities and/or other meetings.
Reviewing, evaluating, and recommending assessment instruments.
Traveling to schools or other educational-based sites.
Maintaining and submitting records to Supervisor on Program operations as requested.
Performing other related duties delegated by the coordinator/supervisor Adhering to policies of the district and procedures of the department and/or section.
Experience/Requirements: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information.
Knowledge of therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
Excellent communication – verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
Responsive to requests.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insurance.
Education/License/Certification: Masters Degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution of higher education.
Current Active State License to practice School Psychology in the state you are looking to work within.
Physical/Sensory Essential Functions: Ability to meet vaccination requirements of partnered school districts Requires prolonged standing and walking, some bending, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching and/or heavy lifting.
Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity, sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone and other equipment.
