Florist Assistant

Responsibilities: - Create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events - Assist customers in selecting the appropriate flowers and arrangements for their needs - Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns - Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral shop - Receive and process flower deliveries, ensuring proper care and storage - Manage inventory and order necessary supplies to ensure availability of fresh flowers - Arrange displays and maintain the visual appeal of the shop Skills: - Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers and meet their floral needs - Ability to sell and promote floral products and services - Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register - Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and their care requirements - Creativity in designing unique floral arrangements - Multilingual skills, particularly English and Spanish, to cater to a diverse customer base - Basic knowledge of lawn care and landscape maintenance for outdoor arrangements We are looking for a skilled Florist who is passionate about creating beautiful floral arrangements.
