Stonehouse Drilling is a water well drilling and pump company that specializes in municipal, mining, industrial, and agricultural water wells and pump systems.
Stonehouse is seeking a Senior Pump Technician.
You'll manage projects; communicate directly with customers; and lead fun and challenging projects, all while enjoying competitive compensation and benefits.
*WHAT YOU WILL DO: PUMPS*
* *Installation and removal: *Install and remove submersible and vertical turbine pumps; understand the rotation, sequence, and key features of these pumps; utilize hydraulic tools
* *Pump tests: *Conduct pump tests that involve meter monitoring and the collection of detailed data in paper and digital spreadsheets
* *Troubleshooting issues: *Troubleshoot basic pump issues, using a multimeter to verify electrical power; determine next steps for repair or replacement
*WHAT YOU WILL DO: TEAM*
* *Communicate externally:* Articulate project operations and objectives clearly to customers as well as Stonehouse leaders
* *Project lead:* Independently manage pump projects, read and interpret project specifications, and mentor other pump technicians
*YOU SHOULD HAVE*
* *Licenses and certifications:* Must possess a driver's license with a clean driving record.
Commercial drivers license required (Class B CDL at a minimum; Class A CDL is preferred)
* *Experience and education:* Must have 2+ years of relevant experience (_i.
e.
_, agricultural and municipal customers using vertical turbine pumps) and a high school diploma or equivalent
* *Operational experience:* Must have experience with machinery through work in construction, drilling, electrical, mechanical, or other contract projects
*COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS*
* Hourly wages of *$26-29/hour with regular overtime*

*LOCATION*
Candidate must be willing to live in Reno, NV or Winnemucca, NV.
Approximately half of your work will be based in Winnemucca, with the other half around NV and CA.
While on a job site that requires you to stay overnight in accommodation, away from your home, travel expenses will be covered.
These expenses include lodging and per diem.
