The Slot Technician will be responsible for ensuring all slot machines are maintained and operating properly and available to the public for play.
In this role you will:
Observe safety policies and procedures including but not limited to safe lifting, use of properly working machinery, etc.
Monitor and maintain all equipment.
Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on slot machines and other slot department equipment.
Approve slot vouchers for payouts and fills as requested.
Comply with company and department policies at all times.
Maintain customer and business confidentiality.
Keep Slot Supervisor and Slot Shop Manager up to date on any problems that have occurred.
Safeguard company assets at all times.
Manage supplies and work area to ensure completion of work.
Perform related and/or other duties as required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have previous Slot Technician experience and knowledge that includes:
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada Gaming Card.
Must have at least two (2) years’ experience with repairing of slot machines.
Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical and electronic slot machine functions and operations.
Working knowledge of electronics and electricity.
Strong ability in mathematics and mechanics.
Title 31 training.
Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.
Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.
High concentration to deal with multiple tasks at the same time.
Record-keeping or bookkeeping skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, guests and management.
Neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene.
Ability to speak, read and write English.
Accuracy and attention to detail is necessary for completion of regulatory forms.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position typically works available shifts, including weekend and holidays.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds; this position would require a uniform shirt provided by employer.
