I bought a 1973 Ford L600 medium-duty box truck.
This liftgate was installed on the truck when I bought it.
The liftgate is in working order.
Includes:
12V DC motor that drives an integrated hydraulic pump.
Battery box that mounts to truck frame.
Control valve with operating handles for both below and inside the truck box.
Folding liftgate deck
Full framework / linkage and single hydraulic ram
Designed to fit standard 34" wide straight truck frame rails.
The liftgate deck is 7 feet wide and 4 feet, front to back, with a 6" tapered "lip" on the back edge.
The deck is steel diamond-plate, in good condition.
If you are willing to come get the liftgate and remove it yourself, you are welcome to do so.
Removing it yourself may be valuable experience for when you go to install it on your truck,
but I may be willing to remove it for you, and even deliver it to you, depending on terms of sale we agree to.
There are some welded-on "tabs" that I will cut free of the truck frame and include in the sale.
All relevant mounting hardware, wiring and hydraulic plumbing lines are included in the sale.
Please note:
Removing and/or installing this liftgate is an advanced-level project,
suitable only for the well equipped and patient tinkerer!
